Knowledge and experience at the service of the environment
Marta Rodríguez is a journalist specialising in Corporate Communication and External Relations. After more than 15 years working in this sector, she combines high-level experience as Head of Institutional Press with several years as Head of Communication and Marketing. She was Parliamentary Technical Advisor in the Assembly of Madrid for different regional spokespersons, and Institutional Delegate in the Digital Transformation Commissions of the Community of Madrid. Throughout her career, she has also worked as a journalist and broadcaster for Onda Cero and Antena 3, and as a freelance reporter in India and Canada.
As Head of Communications for organisations committed to the environment, Marta has been behind major communication actions, such as those related to the launch of the Public Transport Card of the Community of Madrid or the cycling route “Moving For Climate Now”, in collaboration with the United Nations.
She currently holds the position of Head of Communications at IIDMA, where she brings all her passion and experience in the field of brand journalism, public and institutional relations and digital marketing.
Marta has a degree in Journalism from the URJC, a Master’s degree in International Relations and Communication from the ICEI, and specialises in Digital Journalism and Social Networks from the UEM.
